Champion (d)angler Geoff caught some real beauties while his better half Sandra went for long walks with Padma and Kaiser and Malty and Rover. They've left us with happy memories and this wonderful Guestbook entry:

Dear Peter & Padma and Malty & Rover, We must say a very big thank-you to you all. What a lovely stay! Riverbend is a little piece of Paradise. Thank you both for your kind hospitality. We have had a very restful week. Kaiser has probably had the most fun in the whole of his life. Loved the walks to Nelligen. Enjoyed the DVDs; fantastic variety. They've just returned home and sent this email:

"Hi Peter, the return trip was lovely. Probably because we were more relaxed after our very quiet week. We were home just after 1300hrs. Just sat down after unpacking and washing all on the line. Kaiser slept most of the way. Think he may be a little sad Malty and Rover were really good for him. Forgot to mention Peter we ate those chocolates you gave us yummy they were very nice. Saved the bottle to share with the family on Mother's Day but thank you once again. It was a beautiful week for us so pleased I went on the internet and found Riverbend. Take care regards Sandra and Geoff"

Dogs are IN !

Introducing our own two little Maltese, Rover and Malty

 

We have had so many inquiries from so many nice people with so many nice dogs who all wanted to sleep INSIDE the Cottage that we have decided to change our rules: DOGS ARE IN !

Yes, if your dog is well-behaved (meaning house-trained) and of a small size, he is allowed inside the Cottage but please bring his own bedding and also a protective blanket for the sofa.

We can't promise you that Ric still offers this 'Special' at his Nelligen Café when you're here, but what we can promise you is that his Fish & Chips is something special at any price.

Every man and his dog has come down from Canberra and the Bay is no place to be over Easter. Anyway, why get eggcited over Easter? Every day is a holiday at "Riverbend" and a good way to start the day is having breakfast in the treehouse.
